Arti Singh wedding: Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah promises to touch Govinda’s feet, says “he is at my father-in-law’s place”

Krushna Abhishek’s sister and Bigg Boss 13 fame Arti Singh is all set to get married to businessmen Dipak Chauhan and the pre-wedding festivities have begun. Ever since the news of the wedding surfaced, everyone is speculating if actor Govinda will attend his niece wedding. Now, Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah has confirmed Govinda will attend the wedding of niece Arti Singh and she will welcome him by touching his feet.

Addressing the concern about Govinda attending the wedding, Kashmera said to Pinkvilla, “Well, we are looking forward to welcoming him at the wedding. We will very respectfully do so. As the tradition goes, I will touch his feet. After all, he is at my father-in-law’s place and I would pay him my respects. He might have a problem with Krushna and me but Arti has nothing to do with the same and thus we feel, he would attend her wedding.”

Earlier, Arti had also revealed that Govinda will also be attending the wedding with his family. “This wedding is going to be full of love because the entire family will come under one roof. They all will be there to bless me. Govinda mama, is very happy seeing me happy. It makes me very happy. I just know that he’s (Govinda) coming to give his blessings to me and I’m very happy about it. He’s was very happy. He’s my Chi Chi mama he was very happy,” she had said.

What went wrong between Krushna Abhishek and Govinda?

For those unversed, Kashmera Shah and Krushna had a fallout with maternal uncle Govinda a few years ago. It was reported that Krushna was upset with Govinda for not appearing on his TV show, ‘Comedy Nights Live,’ and instead shooting with Kapil Sharma for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV. Later, Govinda’s wife Sunita took offense to Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah’s post about some ‘people who dance for money’ on social media.

Coming to Arti Singh’s wedding, she will tie the knot at ISKCON temple in Mumbai on 25^th April.
